Veteran tribute, with the help of family and friends, honors a departed loved one in a unique way that is rooted in their military service. Displaying their uniform, awards and accolades, and even the personal items they brought home after serving are a way to remember the many different aspects of their lives.

In 1954, Congress rebranded Armistice Day as Veterans Day, to broaden the scope of the holiday’s recognition of all veterans who served in the armed forces. This change reflected the gratitude Americans felt for all those who served their country, recognizing that the contributions of our veterans don’t stop after they leave active duty.

Today, our nation’s veterans continue to serve, contributing leadership and resilience in a variety of fields. Supporting veteran-owned businesses is a way to recognize their efforts, showing them that we care for them as much as they care for us.
